VARUGHESE THOMAS But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36 Varughese Thomas (Thamby), 61, was called to eternal rest on the morning of April 28th, 2020 at the North Campus of Staten Island University Hospital. He was born in Ranny, Kannannoparambil, Kerala on October 10th, 1958 son of K V and Annamma Varghese. He graduated from Saint Thomas College (Kozhencherry, India) with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. Afterwards he immigrated with his wife to Staten Island, New York on April 10,1992 and started his work as a Pharmacy Technician in Seaview Rehabilitation Center before relocating to King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn. He had a love for traveling, handywork and is known for always having a smile and his camera ready at a moment’s notice. Whether it was for family or anybody in need he was willing to sacrifice as much as he could to help. He is survived by his wife Roshan Thomas (Rosamma) and two sons, Ronnie (23) and Roby Thomas (27). Also his three brothers Rajan, Soman and Thankachan of which Thamby was the youngest. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3 Funeral and Interment will be held on Monday, May 4th, 2020. Both services will be private.
