Obituary of Synetta V. Anderson

Obituary Synetta Valerie Anderson was born on August 3,1965 at Jacobi Medical Center Bronx, NY to Edward N. Anderson Jr. and Blondell Anderson. Synetta came to know Christ as her lord and savior at an early age, she loved and often attended bible classes. Synetta graduated from Curtis High School in 1983 and was a member of many clubs including the sewing and fashion club, she was also on the track team. Synetta later pursued her education attending St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC. Synetta always had a great interest in other cultures and societies and expanded her knowledge by living abroad in Nigeria. Synetta later returned to the states to reside in Atlanta, Georgia where she began her work as an account executive for Orkons she later returned to New York to work for Allstate Insurance. In 2004 Synetta welcomed her nephew Omari Anderson into the world. She helped in nurturing and guiding Omari through life and was a major foundation in his growth. Synetta was kind and caring. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of those she's touched along the way. Ms. Synetta Anderson departed from life on June 1st, 2020 at Staten Island University Hospital. Synetta is survived by her parents, Edward N. Anderson Jr. and Blondell Anderson of Staten Island, NY. Two sisters, Selena Anderson, of Staten Island New York and Roberta James Carver of Cameron, NC. Two brothers Dwayne Edward James of Bronx, NY and Michael Anderson of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Edward Anderson Sr of Staten Island, NY, Roberta Smoot Anderson of Statesville, NC, and maternal grandparents Fred McSween of Cognac, NC, and Ethel McSween of Cognac, NC.
