Obituary of Frances K. Ricciardi

Obituary of Frances Ricciardi Frances Ricciardi, nee De Nora age 89passed away on Monday June 15th, 2020. Frances was born May 14th 1931 to Michael and Anna De Nora in Staten Island N.Y. where she resided her whole life. She has three siblings, Carrie Aufiero (deceased), Joseph De Nora and Vicky De Nora. She was a graduate of McKee Vocational and Technical High School. She worked as an assistant adjustor with the Corn Exchange Bank and Trust Company in Manhattan. She married Louis Ricciardi on January 10, 1953 and had three sons. Louis "Ricky" (Estelle Ricciardi), Michael (Elaine Ricciardi) and Mark (Christie Oshiro). She has two grandsons Nicholas and Eric (Tara Ricciardi). She also became a great grandmother to Vivian Hope Ricciardi in 2019. She worked as a bus matron for special needs children alongside her husband Louis for many years. After her husband Louis's death she continued to work and stay active. She worked at a dance studio for seven years where she was loved by the owners and the children that would take dance lessons. She helped with dance recitals and the day to day activities becoming a favorite with the children and their parents. She enjoyed spending time with her church group and enjoyed her trip to Italy to see her family and vacations to California, Las Vegas, Bahamas and Atlantic City. She was an extremely devoted woman to her family, Frances's house had daily homemade meals and was always open to family and friends. Countless holidays and celebrations were held at the Ricciardi household, with Frances cooking up a storm and being the best mom making her family feel comfortable and happy. She will be greatly missed and will be forever loved by family and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Due to current health crisis, the visitation and burial service will be private. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated at this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Frances's favorite charity that she gave to every month for 40 yrs, St Jude Children's hospital.
