Obituary of Christopher M. Trivento
Christopher M. Trivento, 36, of Edison, NJ, formerly of New Springville, Staten Island, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2020. He was the beloved son of Nicholas and Anne Trivento; dear brother of Nicholas J. Trivento and his wife, Dawn, Greg Trivento, Erica Guash and her husband, Marcus Guash III; cherished uncle and Godfather of Marcus Guash IV; devoted grandson of Mary Rose Sollitto, and the late Dominic Sollitto, as well as the late Nicholas and Nina Trivento. He was also survived by many loving uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends.
Chris was born in Brooklyn in 1983, and raised in New Springville, and was graduated from P.S. 60, I.S. 72, and Port Richmond High School. He also attended the College of Staten Island. He worked as an EHS Compliance Officer for Caddell Drydock and Repair on Staten Island. Chris was an avid Mets, Giants, and Rangers fan. He was the self-proclaimed "Rockstar and Party Patrol," who was always smiling and was the life of the party. He loved getting people together and was very devoted to his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, departing at time 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C.Church at 10:30 AM. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Due to the current health conditions, visitors to the funeral home must wear a mask and please keep in mind the the number of visitors allowed into the funeral home and church will be limited.
