Kindness, selflessness, goodness and humility describe my Auntie Rose. I am so proud and lucky to have had as my Godmother. She was there every step in my life and I am so so grateful. She was such a role model that guided me with her love and wisdom. She was the best Mother in the world to her wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandkids. When we spoke she would be filled with tales of her family’s activities and would beam with pride and love. She was their anchor. My condolences go to the Cassidy family. Rest In Peace Auntie Rose.You are back with your wonderful husband Uncle Tom, Tommy, Grandma and Grandpa, my parents Eileen and Walter and Uncle Charlie. Thank you for always being there for me and you will always be in my heart. I love you so much...XOXO

I was so blessed to have you as my Aunt, but truly you were so much more than that to me, and you always will hold a special place in my heart. As a child, you were a second mother to me. As I became an adult, our relationship grew and I was so lucky to have you as my friend and travel companion. You had an inner light and sense of fun that drew people to you and you loved dancing and your many friends. I can hear your laugh in my mind. You have left this world a better place for being here through your varying volunteering and activities in and including CCD, and Saint Joseph Saint Thomas Parish and the Ladies Order of the Ancient Hibernians. I was so proud to be your niece Auntie Rose, and I will always love you. My sincere condolences to the Cassidy family.

To the Cassidy family, my sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

What a great loss for the Cassidy clan. Rosie was one of a kind. Her memory lives on in the lessons she taught us through her example of kindness, selflessness, unconditional love and forgiveness. We were blessed to have her in our lives.

Love you Mom! A Rose unlike any other! Thank you for a lifetime of love and support! You set a great example for us to follow and were a friend to all. You lived a wonderful life and we’re generous and kind. Funny, I don’t think anyone ever left your house hungry. I remember how beautiful she was.I can remember her getting ready to go out with my dad.She fixed her make up,got dressed and would put on these light blue earrings.She gave them to me.
