My most vivid memory of my uncle is when I was about 10 and we were driving on the NJ Turnpike in his Chevy Blazer to a Yankees game in the Bronx. My uncle had a heavy foot and I loved roller coasters so I was thrilled! But I couldn’t understand why we went from NY to NJ to go back to NY. It didn’t make sense to me. When we arrived at the stadium, he took out a pen and paper. He drew all five boroughs, the route we took and explained it until I understood.
He was a natural teacher and leader. There is a Bible verse that describes love as patient and kind. He was patient when others had lost their patience, and kind when others felt kindness was undeserved. My uncle didn’t need to tell you he loved you, he showed you that he did.
My uncle was not just an intelligent man, he was a wise man. He was a critical thinker and this skill not only helped him but he used it to help others. He was always calm and rational, logical and cool, thinking about possible outcomes when someone sought advice from him.
If there was one thing I remember about my uncle, it was that he always arrived exactly on time and left early. It didn’t matter if it was a Yankees game, Giants game, Rangers game, if it was a nail-biter, if they were winning or losing, he was leaving mid-way through the game.
My uncle always said he wanted to “beat the crowd” and he would listen to the end of the game on the car radio on the drive home.
He left us too early, he beat the crowd. I hope he’s listening now on the way to heaven.

Just left the cemetery it’s a sad day. Jeff was the glue that kept everything and everyone together I can’t stop thinking when we were kids playing sports or riding our bikes throughout the neighborhood... Hw will sorely be missed.

I became friends with Jeff when he relocated to O’ahu to run the Hawai’i operations for Anheuser-Busch. Coming from New York and being so far from family and friends, I know the transition to Hawai’i wasn’t easy for him. But in Jeff’s usual way, he put his head down, never complained and excelled at his work.
Honest and forthright, Jeff was a consummate task master -- a doer. He succeeded in large part because he took pride in following through on whatever he promised, usually in record time. Doing the right thing was important to him. Over the five years spent in Hawai’i, Jeff built lasting friendships while earning the respect of his employees and co-workers.
I was one of those co-workers who has the good fortune of calling Jeff a trusted and loyal friend. Although many years have passed since he left Hawai’i, we would try to stay in touch and catch up every now and then by phone. I know Jeff was a very private person who didn’t like sharing his challenges with others. I only wish I had the opportunity to meet his family who I know he cared about so deeply.
To Jeff’s family, I offer my deepest condolences. Jeff was a one-of-a-kind guy and very special. Please know that he was a dear friend to me and someone whose friendship I will always cherish deep in my heart. Thank you for sharing this amazing person with all of us.
Aloha - Bonny

Dear Brennan Family,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Jeffrey. We recently connected with him again after more than 20 years through
Paul Pugliese. We had a mini Mid Island Little League reunion. I was Jeffrey's Baseball coach many years ago on Staten Island.
He was a fine young man. May he rest in Peace.
Sincerely,
Tony Frey

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff at AB. Jeff was a great man who cared about his team and the business. We maintained contact over the past 3 years eafter he left AB and I always enjoyed our conversations. I was stunned to hear about this as I last spoke to him in March. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Jeff (ro!)
Was a quintessential "New Yorker" (from the perspective of a midwester). He enthusiastically produced more single handedly than 5 typical people. He cared about the people around him regardless of their status and he showed it. I have met few people who could handle stressful situations with more grace and wit, and of course he could take a joke or a jab like a prize fighter takes a left hook. I didn't know it at the time, but the occasions I had to drink some beers, or sometimes even sell some, with Jeff were not only some of the great highlights of my brief "career" with the greatest beer company in the history of the world, they were some of the greatest times of my life. Standing in as family during my 2007 wedding was one of the most decent and honorable things that anyone has done for me. That's the kind of generosity and kindness that lives forever. Jeff will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace my good friend!
Sincerely,
Terry McAuley

My cousin Jeff was a sweet, kind man. I remember he was a big sports fan. We would come for a visit and he would be glued to the TV, routing for his team to win. We had so much fun at all our family get togethers. Jeff was a wonderful son, brother and uncle, and he will be missed dearly. ❤️❤️❤️

A few of my favorite memories are the block party where they were swimming in the puddles in the pouring rain. Being in Palm Springs with Aunt Gloria who doesn’t like kids. When our Moms went out we decided to play hide and seek. Jeff got in the hamper and they surprised us and came back so he was trapped in there. Then, not a favorite but funny now, every game we played he had to cheat. We would get so mad and he would get that smirk and sparkle in his eyes. He will be greatly missed.
