Obituary of Irwin Magnus

Irwin Magnus, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Judith (nee Marcus) for almost 58 years; loving father of Cheri Sparacio and her fiancée David Liell and Steven Magnus and his wife Stacie Kaplan-Magnus; cherished grandfather of Alyxandra, Eric, Jonathan and Julianne; dear brother of Karen and her husband Errol; devoted brother-in-law of Barry and his spouse Stewart. Irwin was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After high school he met the love of his life Judith. They were married and blessed with 2 wonderful children. Throughout his life, Irwin worked for 2 printing companies and later owned and operated Five Star Printing and Mailing for close to 40 years. He will be remembered as a people person and as the life of the party. Irwin had a special place in his heart for his beautiful wife Judith always holding her hand up until his final day. He was at his happiest when he was spending time with family and especially his children and grandchildren which gave him such joy. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. On Wednesday, 8/19/2020, departing at 10:30 AM. A Graveside Service will take place at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652 at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow.
