Cousin Barbara and my mother, Sue, were best friends and single supermoms. She called to check-in every night when I was growing up. She was generous, loving, and endlessly proud of her children, Kristin and Mark. I also have to add that she was an exceptional cook and the standard I think of every time I eat delicious Italian food. Barbara will always be in my heart right next to Sue. Sending love and our deepest condolences to you Mark and Kristin from Marisa, Sienna, Bella, and me. Xoxoxoxoxo.

To say that Barbara was beloved in my family is an ultimate understatement. She was a cherished friend to my mother and I for over 40 years, often providing emotional support with her mix of practicality and empathy. The only balm for her loss is the end to her suffering.
