Obituary of Elizabeth A. Cincotta

Elizabeth A.Cincotta, 87, of Willowbrook, passed away peacefully, on October 17, 2020. She was the beloved wife of John for 65 years; loving mother of John Cincotta, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Spano, Philip Cincotta (Cindy), and Eugene Cincotta (Laura); cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Cory, Jeanine, Nico, Joseph, Catherine, Matthew and Brian; devoted great-grandmother of Jayden and Jordan; dear sister of Eugene Ressegiue, and the late Philip Ressegiue, and the late Mary Cincotta. Elizabeth was born and raised in Red Hook Brooklyn, and relocated to Staten Island some 52 years ago. Mrs. Cincotta graduated High School. For many years she stayed at home as a homemaker, and later went back to school and earned a Bachelor's Degree and used it to work for many years as a Grant Administrator for Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. She was a very smart lady. In her spare time she dabbled in arts and crafts and collecting coins. Elizabeth was a good cook and enjoyed time spent with her family. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery. Due to Covid, all visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing.
