Obituary of Trudy Giarletta

Trudy Giarletta, 67 of Rosebank, passed away peacefully in her home on November 10th, 2020. Born on August 8th, 1953 in Staten Island, Trudy was the daughter of the late Sarah & Rudy Micharoni. She was a graduate of Curtis High School. A self-employed business owner, Trudy was fun-loving, full of life and very generous to all she met. “If you needed help, Trudy was your go-to person. She always found a way. She was truly loved by all who were honored to know her. Life without her will never be the same"” states her sister Fran Spinelli-Pirozek. Trudy was the matriarch of a loving immediate and extended family. A true gift from God, she spread His word wherever she went. She is survived by her husband Robert Castellanos, her brother Joseph DeVito (& Marie), her children Ralph Giarletta (& fiancé Lisa) and Rudy Giarletta (& wife Kim). She was the cherished Nanny of Loren, Jordan, Grace, Gianna and Nicolette. She was the adored cousin and aunt of many. Her prize possession was her blue-eyed white Pomsky Kodak, who was always by her side. She was spirited and spiritual and will be forever loved and missed.
