Obituary of Dominick J. Russiello

Dominick J. Russiello, 73, of Bulls Head, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Nicosia) for 52 years; loving father of Joseph K. Russiello and his wife Larissa, and Laura Russiello and Jude; cherished grandfather of Diana Rodriguez and her husband Justin, Rebecca Russiello, Alexander Duka, Matthew Russiello; devoted great-grandfather of Olivia Rodriguez and Carmella. He was a proud doggy dad to his shitzu Cody and doggy grandpa to Benjamin, Wilbur, and Winnie. Mr. Russiello was born and raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Lafayette High School. After High School he was drafted and served in the U.S. Army, in the second armored division in Fort Hood Texas. For over thirty years, he worked for and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was extremely hard-working, who loved his family and provided well for them. Dominick was a people person with a great sense of humor. Some of his hobbies included fishing, cleaning, taking care of his cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the holidays and was very passionate when it came to his antipasto! Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service is scheduled at 8:15 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
