Obituary of Mofid K. Mansour

Mofid Kaldas Mansour Born 11/6/1941 in Cairo Egypt Born to Zahia and Aldas Mansour The second youngest of 10 children Faithful Husband of 50 years to Madeline Mansour Amazing father to Marsha and Johnpaul Adoring grandfather to Noah Nathan and Matthew Loving father-in-law to Jowita A loved uncle to many He is described as the life of the party, the smile that fills the room, The roaster that nobody was safe near, late to everything but always on time. Always sharp and well-dressed ready to celebrate and enjoy whatever is happening. He is by far the hardest working man you would've ever met. Everything he did was for the good of his family. He left a comfortable home in Egypt to provide A better future for his family, he left his career his family everything that he had and came to country that he didn't know, to language he didn't speak, all to create something new for his family. He created a brilliant career as the master engineer, earning many many many licenses and working in five star hotels all over New York City. He was endeared by all of his coworkers and was known as the man that could fix anything. He along with his wife believed that God had a plan for them and for his family, they were Christians and they believe in the destiny of God and the direction of the word of God. They came here and created a life that produced two children that have given their lives for the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is their legacy. Mofid taught his children humility, faithfulness consistency, hard work, and the power of prayer. Every night he could be found reading the book of Psalms of the book of Proverbs his two favorite books. Kneeling beside his bed, asking God for wisdom and for peace. He gave his life to see his children serve and walk with the Lord and have everything they need. He will be remembered by all as a man who had a big smile and a even bigger heart he was the a pitta me of generosity, and kindness, his home, his heart, his wallet and his time was open to all who needed. -- His servant, Pastor Marsha
