Obituary of Peter Bartolotti

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Bartolotti, Jr. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home in Staten Island, New York. Peter was born on July 23, 1959. in Brooklyn, New York to his beloved parents Peter and Louise Bartolotti both of whom have predeceased him. Peter is survived by his brother Louis Bartolotti and his wife Laura; sister Elizabeth Califano and her husband Gregory; and sister Marie Bartolotti. He was adored by his nieces Lisa, Emily, Annie and Marie; nephews Gregory and Alfred, and seven grand nieces and nephews. Peter loved going to Broadway shows with his family, playing games, listening to music, swimming and going out for a nice meal. He enjoyed being around children and watching them grow. Peter was a long-time member of the Workshop group, Lifespire Day Habilitation Program, where he had many friends. Everyone who knew Peter loved him. He was sweet, kind, generous and had a heart of gold. His smile could light up a room and the world will now be a little darker for those who lost him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, 2/20, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm, with a service I the funeral home at 3:45 pm.
