There are no words to adequately express the heartache we share with you. Chris faced her illness with such grace and determination. She ended her day with selfless love and compassion for others. She taught many how to live and how to die. What an inspiration she has been! Our prayers for the rest of the family is that they find comfort in the wonderful memories and all the beautiful things Chris brought to the world. We will see her on the other side.

We are thinking and praying for all of you during this time. Chris was a wonderful friend to our family, and especially to our Mom, Carol Hafey. They first met at Blessed Sacrament when the kids were growing up. They spent many years at BSS volunteering together especially working the Holiday Fairs together. They even went to nursing school together. They would study so hard together and Chris would always encourage Mom. What these two women couldn't accomplish. We were so happy when Chris and Phil came to our oldest son, Michael's, Eagle Scout Ceremony to support all of us. All good memories of times spent together.
