Obituary of Tony Borgia

Anthony Joseph Borgia, 77 of Westerleigh, Staten Island, passed away quickly on Saturday March 6 after suffering a serious heart condition. He was the beloved brother to Grace Gerry and her husband Edward. Loving son of the late Joseph and late Antoinette Borgia. Also loving brother to the late Genevieve Scramuzza. A Fantastic Uncle to Genevieve’s children: Niece Patricia Finkle (husband Frank), Niece Linda Meklin (husband Bruce), Nephew Ernie Scramuzza (wife Lynn). Great Uncle to Kimberly and Jennifer Finkle, Douglas, Amanda and Jessica Meklin, Nick and Bobby Scramuzza. Great Great Uncle to Alina Meklin. Tony was born and raised in Brooklyn. Moved to Staten Island in 1984. Tony will forever be in our memories and hearts. Visitation at Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd., SI, NY 10314 on Wednesday March 10, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
