Obituary of William C. Giannola
William C. Giannola, 36, of Bulls head, passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2021. He was the beloved son of Gary, brother to Alan, Carolyn, and Michael; loving uncle of Adam and Avery; cherished boyfriend to Milagro; and dear nephew and cousin to many.
Mr. Giannola was born in Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island, and graduated from Saint Peter’s High School. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, her children Patricia and Jacob, and his loyal and caring group of friends whom he loved as family. Whether he was with a group of grassroots volunteers at NYPIRG, or with a party of conservatives, he infiltrated the hearts of everyone he met. With his sometimes confusing, but mostly insightful, philosophical verbiage, he was able to instantly make anyone his friend. His ability to adapt to any friends needs made him an inexplicably unique individual. He would spend hours playing chess or scrabble with one friend, then play unusual board games or new video games throughout the night with another. And if you needed a shoulder to cry on or a person to just sit and listen to you vent, there was no one better than Will.
He loved to cook, but his best work came when he was preparing food for his friends or family. His Chili became a must have at any Super Bowl party. And he was always ready to recommend the right spice to add to a meal or the right whiskey to drink after dinner.
He had the biggest heart and always spread joy to everyone around him. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
