Obituary of Nicholas A. Siragusa, Jr.

Nicholas A. Siragusa, Jr., 78, of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Richmond University Medical Center, after a brief illness. Nick was born on October 24, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Teresa (Valentino) and Nicholas A. Siragusa, Sr. Nick was a retired milkman, and eventually a business owner. In addition to his loving partner of 21 years, Jeannette Leahy, Nick is survived by a son, Nicholas III, of Lancaster, PA, and two grandchildren; Theresa and Frances of Cape Coral, Florida. He was also the grandfather of the late Nicholas IV. Memorial visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 10 am to 12 Noon. A Memorial Mass will follow after the visitation, at Holy Family R.C. Church at 1 pm. Inurnment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date, with a private gathering of the family.
