I looked forward to seeing Gina every day at work. She always has a good ear to listen and would then give encouraging words of wisdom. There was always a line at her office door to talk to her. I worked for Gina at Lowe’s 1952. She wasn’t just my manager she was a friend. We always said our daughters were twins separated before birth with one sent to her and one to me. They never met but are so much alike Gina and I would just laugh over it. I could talk to her about anything work or personal. She made me laugh and always supported my work goals. She challenged me to be the best me I could be . I wouldn’t have the work growth I have if not for her. Gina gave the best advice and you knew she was there if you needed her. She was a rare combination of exceptional boss and great friend. I will truly miss her and our talks and laughs. Fly high Gina, RIP and go be with your puppy. I know he’s anxiously waiting for you. You were truly one of a kind. you are missed and you were loved.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Gina. I went to Lowe's to apply for a job and Gina interviewed me and hired me right on the spot. She always bought a bottle of Dr Pepper and never wanted the receipt. She was a very good manager and always helped me out with things. Lowe's Store 1952 will never be the same without her. RIP Gina, l will always remember and miss you.
