I will never forget the first time I met Bob Baumert. I was working a fixed post outside a park in the 63. Bob pulled up in a Plymouth reliant k car rmp. I thought to myself a man with such stature in a tiny rmp...quite a contrast. A great guy a great boss. Condolences to the family and Bob Jr whom I worked with in PADT. PO Stephen Ippolito Retired

Bob will be truly missed. He was one of the best bosses in the New York City Police Department. He was a role model for what a boss should be.
