Obituary of Jennie M. Riccardi

Jennie M. Riccardi, 98, of New Springville, passed away on July 6, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of John Riccardi and his wife Carolann, and Carl Riccardi and his wife Adele; cherished grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of 15. She was predeceased by her siblings. Jennie was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, and graduated from Washington Irving High School in Manhattan. Mrs. Riccardi was a skilled seamstress in her younger years and was proud to be an excellent cook. Two of her favorite specialties were chicken cacciatore and eggplant parmigiana. Jennie was extremely proud of her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many people gravitated towards her outgoing and helpful personality. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
