Obituary of Nora M. Rotondo

Mrs. Nora M. Rotondo, 90, of Willowbrook, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred (1980), loving mother of Louis A. Rotondo and his wife Kathy, Freddie Rotondo and his wife Rosalie, and Anthony Rotondo and his wife Patrrica; cherished grandmother of Louis A. Rotondo Jr. and his wife Amanda, Nicole Castiglia and her husband Mike, Salvatore Rotondo, Victoria Rotondo-White and her husband Will, Anthony Rotondo Jr., and JonMichael Rotondo; devoted great-grandmother of Michael and Filomena; dear sister of the late Anthony Muraco and late Frankie Muraco. Mrs. Rotondo was born and raised in Brooklyn, primarily in the Greenpoint section. She graduated from High School. She was a proud homemaker and raised her three sons. Nora enjoyed cooking and being with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Nora. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church, with interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
