Obituary of William S. Kubosh

William Stanley Kubosh, age 73, of Staten Island, NY, passed away on January 22, 2018. He was the loving cousin of Marian C. Dezelich, John S. Jarmea and many other cousins. He was the devoted son of the late Stephen and Helen Kubosh. William was born in New York, NY, who eventually relocated to Staten Island in 1953, settling in Willowbrook, then finally in Graniteville. He was employed as a messenger for 25 years for Brokerage Firms in NYC. Some of his hobbies included watching wrestling on television and was he was described by his family as being very personable with people. Mr. Kubosh was also a member of the Assumption Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society of Holy Family R.C. Church. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in William's memory to be made to the AHRC foundation, or the Staten Island Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, January 25th , departing at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10 am. Interment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, Long Island, NY. Family and friends are asked to visit on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
