Obituary of Stella Manaro

Stella Manaro, 103, was born in Brooklyn, NY, on October 18, 1917, and passed away at her residence in Belle Harbor, Queens, where she enjoyed many happy years, on September 15, 2021. Stella was the daughter of the late Peter and Nancy Benvenuto; beloved wife of the late Agatino Teddy Manaro; loving mom of Dr. Robert Manaro (Melissa) and James Manaro (Peggy Fulton); cherished grandmother of Michael Manaro, Jackie Neives, Elaine Madej and Christopher Manaro; fond great-grandmother of Juliet, Jackson, Avery and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her siblings Edith, Tony, Al, Josie, Mary, Yola, and Angie. Stella was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, 9/20, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church, with interment to follow in Ocean-View Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, 9/19, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
