James was a one of a kind person who brought joy and light to so many. Many of the funniest moments in my life, that brought the most laughter involved James. He did not play poker but still came to hang out and bring chicken rolls. He did not play softball but never missed a game whether it was in Queens, Florida, or Texas. Who would have thought that the quintessential Brooklynite would be line dancing at a honky tonk bar in Texas. James was a member of our work family that extended far from work and he viewed all of his people as his fiduciary responsibilities. James will be forever missed but also forever talked about and celebrated.

James How good you were to every person you had a special bond with. You were so good to my mom Dolores. You made sure every year you bought her a Xmas gift. Or a House warning gift . Every time I moved you were the first person to come around and show that you cared. As Michael is getting older all we both would say to each other I wonder what kind of woman he will bring around us all one day. You better make sure from above you do your approval lol. That we spoke about. I’m gonna miss how funny you were and how you always made me laugh so hard many times. It’s definitely not going to be the same without you. It’s so True that God only takes the Good ones first. You were so good to everyone. I will never forget you James. You better watch over all of us and be that Angel from up above. I light many candles and I’m praying for you . Love always and forever Lisa Marie O.

James You are the uncle and God-Father of my son. Michael. You were supposed to come over this week and have lunch with us. I can’t believe you left this earth so fast , it feels like yesterday 15 years ago we met . And as soon as I met you I knew you were always going to be my favorite person in your family. I loved the fact that you were old- Fashioned and very religious. My kind of Guy. No matter what anyone said about me you always stuck up for me. Oh Gee what will I do now. Lol. The first time you came over my house you brought me dry sausage and fresh mozzarella and Italian bread my favorite things to eat. You always knew how to make everyone happy. You have been a best buddy to me from day -one . The best Uncle a kid can ask for . I feel like I am dreaming still . I know you are with your best friend Anthony and Grandma Rose May God bring you peace and happiness and I know for sure we all just inherited the beautiful us angel on earth and that is you I will always love you James and never forget about you till we meet again God bless you. Love always and forever Lisa Marie O.

James! I can’t believe this is real, I can’t believe you’re gone! You were a great man, great friend, coworker and Family! I remember all the laughs and great times we had over the years. Either at work, vacations, 18th ave feast, my wedding, parties, BBQ’s or just hanging out together for a drink! Years that were cut way too short!!! You will be greatly missed! God bless you James! May you Rest In Peace!!!

Dear James,
I have so many fond memories of you. It seems like it was only yesterday when you invited Larry, Tom, and myself to your birthday party when we were in the 3rd grade. We went to the same elementary school, high school, and university. Vacations at Andrew’s summer home. And we even worked together in the pizzeria.
You’re family. You will be missed by so many people.
May God Bless you, and, all of your loved ones and friends.
May you Rest In Peace brother.
