Obituary of Jennie Braccolino

Jennie Braccolino, 86, of Bulls Head, passed away peacefully at her home on October 21, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic J. Braccolino (2020); loving mother of the late Larry Braccolino (2018) and Donna M. Acierno; fond mother-in-law of Elizabeth Braccolino and Anthony Acierno; devoted grandmother of Jillian Doran (Joseph), Joseph Acierno (Ashley), Nicholas Braccolino, and Jenna Acierno; dear great-grandmother of Alexandria and Emelia Doran; dear sister of Rosemarie Savino (Gaetano). She was preceded in death by Bart Minardi and Connie Pumilio. Fond sister-in-law of Nina Minardi and late Jimmy Pumilio. Jennie was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Braccolino was born and raised in Brooklyn, graduated from Prospect Heights High School, and moved to Staten Island in 1967. She worked for many years at Holborn Reinsurance Agency as a Secretary. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 3:00 to 9:00 pm.
