Bernadette Impellizzeri Age 75
Bernadette Impellizzeri passed away on Oct. 25, 2021. She was born November 7, 1945 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where she attended Public Elementary School and Graduated from Washington Irving High School. She also attended Hunter College in Manhattan for a short time. Later on she pursued her studies in Textile Design.
Bernadette worked at the Former Chemical Bank and earlier owned an Antique Store called the Sunflower in Greenwich Village at the age of 21.
She loved traveling abroad and studied Astrology as she often enjoyed it as a Hobby.
In 1971, she moved with her Family to Staten Island, where she visited as a child in the Summer with relatives in South Beach.
The last few years she lived first at New Broadview Assisted Living in South Beach, then moved to Carmel Richmond Nursing Home, in Dongan Hills, as her condition worsened.
She is survived by her Sister Virginia Rojack, Brother Ignatius (Eddie) , and her Niece and Nephew Lauren Galietta and Steven Z. Rojack, and Great Niece and Nephew Amelia Galietta and Andrew (AJ) Galietta.
She will be Buried at All Faiths Cemetery (formerly All Faiths Lutheran Cemetery) in Middle Village, Queens with a Graveside Ceremony. She will join her Parents. Stefano (Steve) and Filomena (Phyllis) and Aunts Vincenza (Virginia), Roselina (Rose), and Uncle Giacomo (Jack) at the Family Gravesite.
