At the time I really didn’t know what to write. All these months later I’m still crushed without you. You meant everything to us. At times I get forgetful and still want to call you. From when I was a little boy you always made me feel special. You showed endless amounts of love and supported me in all my endeavors throughout my life. Wherever I turned there you were for me. As I got older I always reminded you how appreciated you were for everything you did for us. I could go on forever mom I love and miss you always my angel

Cathy. I remember when I first met you you were so warm and sweet to me - I liked you immediately! I saw you at so many events and I was always greeted with a big hello and you always asked with genuine care how me and the kids were. Most of all I will never forget how you came to the church to see me get married and had a beautiful gift for me when my daughter was born. I did not expect it and I will never forget how nice that was of you. I always looked forward to seeing you at parties and I’m so sad of your passing. I’m glad we got to talk at the last party and you will really be missed. I want to send my condolences and love to the whole Massoni family- my prayers are with you always. - Cathy Rest In Peace. I was happy to have known you - Pamela Costanza

Cathy came into our family when I was just 11. From the beginning she wasn't an in law she was my sister. I'm broken hearted but so thankful to have had her in my life for 40 years. Cathy you were the best & will be missed dearly. Rest easy Big Sis. Till we meet again...

Mom , I cant completely put into words the impact you had on my life and so many others. I am where I am today because of your commitment and desire to see your children succeed and the love you had for each and everyone of us. Our bond was special, only one a mother and son can share. You were always “My first love” , since a little boy I remember telling you that and you would respond with “one day you will meet a nice girl and start a family”. I did and I know how proud and happy you were of me and my siblings. Thats all you ever wanted from life was to be around family and to be happy. You were the ultimate family person, always bubbly, laughing and smiling. When there were times I seemed to be drifting in the wrong direction, you were always there to guide me back on track with your wisdom and
love. The lessons i learned from you I have passed on to my children and will continue to, they adored their Nana. Not a single Baseball game, basketball, track meet or any other significant event in your childrens or grandchildren's lives did you ever miss, we were everything to you, and only as a parent do I now realize how special that is. I can only hope to be half the parent to my kids as you were to me. It was so important to you that I finish college, and I did, I remember how much joy and pride that brought you, without you pushing me to be better and succeed I don't know that I ever would have ever gave it my all. Holidays will never be the same without your warm and glowing presence, you were a true family matriarch. Christmas eve was your night, and you took great pride in cooking and planning for hours ahead to provide your family with an amazing meal and experience year after year. You gave up a career in manhattan to stay home and raise your family, that was what mattered most to you. I respect what you did for us more now as a parent than ever before, the sacrifices you made to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted were undeniable. You were so positive when things weren’t looking so positive, a fighter till the very end. Tough as nails. You used to hug me and tell “ My Anthony, my first born” with the biggest smile on your face, I choke up just thinking about it. Not many adults can say that their parents are their best friends, I was fortunate to do so. We were a huge Baseball family, from Little league games to Collegiate games and Mens league, you wanted to be there at every single game , you enjoyed watching us play and succeed. I am forever great full. Forever young was our song , since I was a little boy you used to tell
me we would dance to that at my wedding, and I am so great full that we did. I can go on here rambling for hours on how great a person to this earth you were. Heaven gained an Angel, until we meet again my queen , love always “your Anthony”.

We all came from Brooklyn to woodmont. Scared of our new adventure me and Cathy became best friends. Always able to depend on each other. Between the baseball games at west shore and the basketball games at st adalberts to then dancing school and competition at dancesations. We have the best memories of those days. Those memories have always remained in my heart. I love you my friend and I know you will watch over your family. They have their own Angel. Rip Cathy. No more suffering…
