Obituary of Dolores T. Chiarello

Dolores T Chiarello, 72, of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully at her home with her partner John at her side on October 27th, 2021. She is survived by her partner John, her sons Brian and Kevin, her stepson John and her grandchildren Gianna, Juliette and Benji. Dee spent her early life with her large family in Queens and Brooklyn and had her first born on the West Side of Manhattan surrounded by family and friends. She went on to raise her boys in Brooklyn and finally settled in a picturesque community in Staten Island. Dee had a beautiful artistic talent that she loved sharing with her family, friends and most of all her grandchildren. Some of her work consisted of beautiful paintings that fill the walls of her home, precious hand-made jewelry that she shared with her family and many other forms of art that could always be found in the corners of her garden and home. Dee and John share an amazing love for animals that has been reflected in their countless years of raising and caring for their many cats and appreciating their community that is currently filled with beautiful animals like deer, squirrels, and wild turkey. Dee always had a generous heart and consistently donated to many charities throughout her life helping animals and children. Some of the things Dee loved most was kidding around with her family, swimming, painting with her grandchildren, dancing with her sisters, joking around with her boys and enjoying a good meal. Her jovial spirit will always be with us and we will continue to miss her deeply.
