Obituary of Katherine Anne Hass

Katherine Anne Hass (nee Holler), age 74, passed away peacefully on Februay 4, 2018, at Addeo Hospice. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert (2013), loving mother of Kenneth Hass, dear sister of the late Kenneth Holler; fond sister-in-law of Kathleen Swift, Andrew and Betty Hass, Mary Zawacki and John Borgese, and Ellen Holler-Coffey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Katherine was born on January 13, 1944 in Brooklyn and raised in the Bay Ridge neighborhood. She was an alumna of Fort Hamilton High School. Some of her hobbies included reading, doing crossword puzzles, and being an avid baseball fan, especially the NY Mets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Green-wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
