Obituary of Regina A. Nocita

Regina A. Nocita, 76, of Staten Island, NY, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022. She is the beloved wife of Jack Nocita, loving mother of Thomas J. Nocita and his wife Elizabeth, Susan D. Nocita-Dogostiano and her husband Richard, and Debra L. Nocita; cherished grandmother "Nana" of Salvador Louis, Giacomo Louis and the soon to arrive Thomas John. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis "Big Lou" and Regina "Dolly" Raffone. Regina was born and raised in Gravesend, Brooklyn. She attended Lafayette High School and soon after met the love of her life Jack to whom she was married for 57 years. She happily transitioned from bookkeeper to homemaker after being married on October 18, 1964. She welcomed everyone into her home and many felt her motherly love which included a bright warm smile and a delicious meal (particularly her Meatballs, beef stew and corned beef and cabbage). She enjoyed cruising/traveling, swimming (diving right into the pool with no hesitation), spending time with her family, listening to music and sharing good conversation and laughs. Memorial Service at the Matthew Funeral, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, On Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Due to the Governor's mandate all visitor's must wear masks!
