Obituary of Joseph Ianniello

Joseph "JoJo" W. Ianniello, 78, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, January 15, 2022. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where he met many of his life-long friends. He graduated from the New York School of Printing and attended Rochester Institute of Technology. He was the beloved husband of, and predeceased by, his wife Carol, and was the loving father of Laura Marshall. Most of all, he was a devoted grandpa to Jordan, Haley, and Thomas who have wonderful memories of doing creative projects and having fun learning how to make zeppoles and meatballs. He was a lifetime supporter of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation, along with numerous other generous gestures throughout his life. If you needed something he had, it was yours. If you needed something he didn't have, he helped you find a way to get it. He will always be remembered as a man of sincere generosity, a friend to the end, and the best father and grandpa he could be. He also leaves behind his loving siblings Nick and Laura, and is predeceased by his brother, Dante. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral departing from Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., on Thursday at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Arrangements include private cremation. Due to the current mandate, all visitors must wear masks!
