Obituary of Elcey Thomas

Elcey Thomas, 76, of Staten Island, passed away on January 29, 2022. Mrs. Thomas was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She worked as a Psychiatric Nurse for 35 years at South Beach Psychiatric Center. Her Husband, Thomas Varghese, passed away on November 30, 2021. She joined him in Heaven on January 29, 2022. She is survived by her two sons, Jobby and Joshi, her daughter-in-law Anija, and her two grandchildren Jenny and Jasmine. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, 2/3, at 11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 11:30 am. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 2/3, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Due to the current mandate, all visitors must wear masks!
