Ruth M Andrews, 86 years young passed away on January 22, 2022 in Staten Island University North. Ruth Andrews is survived by her 2 sisters Christine and Shirley, 7 children, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Ruth Andrews was born on August 4, 1935 in Springfield Georgia to parents Robert Michael and Edna Burnett. In 1964 she moved to NYC attended and graduated from college with a degree in accounting. Ruth accepted a position at Housing Preservation and Development as an accountant where she worked and retired from for over 30 years. Ruth Andrews was a great sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Friday, 2/18/2022 departing at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 2/17/2022 from 11:30 to 1:30 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, 2/17/2022 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ on Friday, 2/18/2022 at 11:30 AM.
