Obituary of John C. Feis

John Feis, 82, of Richmond passed away peacefully at Staten Island University Hospital on February 17, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Rose Ann Feis for 58 years; loving father of Lisa Mangus and Donna Egan; cherished grandfather of Michael, Alexandra, Christopher and Victoria. John was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He joined the Marines at 18 years old and after his honorable discharge he became a police office at age 24. John spent his life dedicated to service and earned the deep respects of many. His friends and family knew John would stand by them in adversity and find solace in having the privilege to have had him in their lives. John enjoyed his later life traveling with his wife and friends and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Funeral from Matthew Funeral Home., 2508 Victory Blvd, on Tuesday February 22,2022, departing at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's RC Church at 10:00 AM. Friends and family may visit on Monday, February 21, from 2:00-7:00 PM.
