She is survived by her three loving daughters: Deborah Favaloro and her husband Mark; Maureen Olsen and her partner Frank; and Cristine Picone and her husband John. She is also survived by her eight adoring grandchildren: Kristen Campbell and her husband Ian, Matthew Favaloro, Nicole Rosner and her husband Matthew, Nicholas Favaloro, Jeffrey Olsen, Michael Picone, Joseph Picone, and Thomas Picone; as well as two great-grandchildren: Ava and Aiden Rosner; and many nieces and nephews. The second youngest of seven children born to Samuel and Josephine Esposito, she is survived by her younger sister, Rose Gonzalez. Born in New York City, where she spent the first 30 years of her life, she moved in 1958 to a row of houses in Westerleigh with her family, parents, and siblings where she remained for the rest of her life. After working in NYC bridal shops and completing her education at The Fashion Institute of Technology, she became a longtime supervisor of Chase Manhattan Bank where she was honored numerous times for her service to the organization until retirement. An avid seamstress and exceptional cook, Helen was loved immensely by her family and community. Always one to put the needs of others before her own, she is remembered as the backbone of her family. She designed and created countless wedding gowns and communion dresses for her family and friends, planned and hosted every major holiday and celebration, and remained a safe haven for any and all who entered her home. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, departing at 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
