Obituary of Shawn P. Di Marco

Shawn P. DiMarco, 55, of Staten Island, NY, passed away on February 28, 2022 in Staten Island. Shawn was born in Brooklyn to Thomas Mulqueen and Ellen Lacey on June 22, 1966. She went to high school at Bishop Ford HS and graduated in 1984. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Francis College. She worked as an Assistant Manager/Supervisor for Emigrant Savings Bank for many years. Shawn loved animals big and small and was quick to rescue any animals in need. Shawn’s other passions were genealogy, photography and of course her nieces and nephews. Shawn is survived by her husband Salvatore DiMarco, mother Ellen Roberts and her husband Logan Roberts, mother in law Lucia DiMarco, brother and sister in laws Anna & Gaspare Gallina, Cindy Mulqueen, Angela & Angelo Alamia. Shawn is also survived by her aunt Karen Mulqueen and nieces and nephews Nicole, Christina, Vanessa, Ryan, Domenic & Joseph and her extended family in El Paso, Texas, Regina Roberts, Rena Lukasik, Leah, Michael and Natalie. She was predeceased by her father Thomas Mulqueen and her brother Clifford Mulqueen. Shawn will be remembered for her big heart, generosity and her love and devotion to her family. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Saturday, 3/5/2022, Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Friday, 3/4/2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
