Dear Maria, Regina, Steven and family members, It was with great sadness that we received the news of Al Abati's passing. As a longtime member and leader of the US China Peoples' Friendship Association, he was invaluable to our organization. Most recently he served as the Vice President of the NYC Chapter. Al loved and understood China. He had an affinity for the language and the culture. Please accept our sincere condolences, You remain in our thoughts and prayers.
