Obituary of Wilbert Perez Sr.

Wilbert “Will” Perez, 64, of Richmond, passed away on May 3rd, 2022 at Staten Island University Hospital. He was survived by his wife of 34 years, Carmen Perez; loving father to his children, Tiffany, Christopher, Anthony and Wilbert Jr.; loving son to his mother Blanca Iris Vega, loving grandfather to all of is grandchildren, loving brother to all of his siblings, loving son in law to Luz Quintana. Wilbert “Will” was loved by so many that we could not have been able to list them all. From Family to friends to neighbors to strangers. He was known for his kindness, generosity and sense of humor by many. He was always there to offer a helping hand. Wilbert was a Retiree and used most of his time doing projects around the house, spending time with his youngest granddaughter Gaby, going for walks with his wife and helping his neighbors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by many. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The family requests that all visitors must wear masks!
