Obituary of Amelia P. DeLuca

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Amelia DeLuca. She was born on September 29, 1930 and returned to the Kingdom of God on February 15, 2018, at the age of 87. She is happily received in Heaven by her Husband Paul and her Brothers John, JoJo, Ralphy and Louie. Amelia led a full life. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. Amelia was known for her amazing simile, her glamorous appearance, and her un-canning ability to tell you what she wanted you to know. She worked hard to provide for her family, to love them unconditionally and support them in all their life's journeys. She is going to be greatly missed by her daughter Antoinette, her son Frank, daughter-in-law Amrica, son-in-law Tony, grandchildren Frank II, Kelly, Paul and Gabriel; great grandson Frank III and countless nieces and nephews. Amelia will also be missed by numerous friends who have held her close throughout her time with them. Rest in Peace God's Precious Angel Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
