Obituary of John J. Cincotta

Mr. John J. Cincotta, 90, of Willowbrook, Staten Island, passed away on June 8, 2022. He was the beloved son of Joseph and Jennie Cincotta. Brother of Joseph Cincotta. Married to the late Elizabeth Ressigiue Cincotta. Survived by his children John Cincotta JR. Elizabeth Spano. Philip Cincotta and Eugene Cincotta. 9 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. John was born in Brooklyn and raised most of his life in Saint John's Home for the Boys. When reaching age, he voluntarily joined the Maines. After being wounded he was discharged from the marines. After being wounded He was rehabilitated and eventually became an electrical Engineer for General Electric comp. He was a good father, kind but stern. His passion was his family and extended family, gardening and his dogs. Visitation will be held at Matthew Funeral Home Inc. 2508 Victory Boulevard, Sunday June 12, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A service is scheduled at the funeral home on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 10:00 am, with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
