Obituary of Thomas W. Stile

Thomas Stile, 62, of Sunnyside, passed away on June 18th 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Diana Stile, his sons Gaetano and Andrew, his sisters Linda and Cindy, and his nephews Vincent and Lukas. Tom was born and raised in Brooklyn before relocating to Staten Island where he lived since 1992. He worked at Maimonides Medical Center for almost 40 years as a Laboratory Technician in Hematology. He was looking forward to retirement in September of this year. He loved weightlifting, the history of WWII and making models in his spare time. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and uncle. Tom will be greatly missed and will never forgotten. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, departing at 8:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s R.C. Church at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
