Obituary of Joseph Annunziata

Joseph Annunziata, 74 , of Willowbrook , Staten Island passed away peacefully on July 5th 2022. He was the beloved Husband of Paula Valore-Annunziata, beloved Father of Marisa Annunziata-Panuthos, Rosalba Annunziata, and son in law Louis Panuthos. Beloved Grandfather to Ellie and Connie. He is survived by his sister Pina Annunziata-Ciliberti. He was loved by his whole family including his mother and father in laws Benny and Rosa Valore, sister and brother in law Teresa Valore and Nino Valore, along with nieces and nephews. Joseph was born in Ouletta, Salerno , Italy. He moved to Brooklyn NY at the age of 13 for 2 years then moved to Staten Island NY. He worked in downtown Manhattan as a supervisor for Chase Bank . He worked very hard to provide for his family. He was a kind , compassionate man. A true gentleman. He was a funny man with a great sense of humor. Always trying to make you laugh. He loved listening to music, especially Elvis. Joseph loved the outdoors, gardening and playing Soccer, But his pride and joy were his granddaughters Ellie and Connie. He loved them very much as they loved him. Connie called him "Baby Joe". He was diagnosed with Parkinson's and after 15 years of living with this terrible disease He passed away at the age of 74 at Staten Island University Hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones. Funeral from Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Friday, 7/8/2022, departing at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 7/7/2022, from 4:00 to 9:00 PM.
