Obituary of Carmen J. Lugo

Carmen Lugo (Milly), 83, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2022. She was the loving mother of Sifredo Camacho, Maria Camacho Torres and Yvonne Camacho, cherished grandmother of Luis, Leticia, Teresa, Melinda, Cathy, Anthony and Jesus and beloved great grandmother of 22 and great great-grandmother of 4. She was always a caring and fun-loving grandma to all. She will be missed by all. He favorite pastime was shopping; QVC and Macys were her favorite’s. Ms. Lugo was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and came to the United States as a young woman, settling in Manhattan then ultimately settling in the Bronx. Visitation will be held at Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a service at 6:00 pm.
