On behalf of Phoebe, Caitlin and myself: We'll miss you, Aunt Elizabeth. I remember discussing the appropriate use of Grandpa's mugs with you and your theory that if you dropped one, the floor would break and not the mug. I actually just chuckled remembering you saying that with a straight face. You will be missed. Love you!

I am saddened to hear this. She was a beautiful soul who I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay in Staten Island. May her memory be a blessing!

We are so saddened by the loss of our Aunt Elizabeth. She was so very kind and would always go above and beyond for her family. I will cherish the quilt she made for me and the memories of our visits. All my prayers for my Uncle Tony, cousins and their families. She will be missed.

Liz...we have been friends for a long time...it all started with the Legion....and I had met Tony when he was a student in one of my H&R Block classes....When my husband was looking to transfer to another Post, I consulted Tony and my Tony became a part of Gold Star. We went to all the social events together. I started having Cookie Exchange parties before Christmas for my Quilting group and you asked to be included. I explained that there was no one you knew, but she said: No problem. You came, and fit right in with the group. Once you retired you got active in the Quilting group and thanked me for having a fun retirement. You eventually became President of the group.
Liz, you were always there when I needed you or was troubled about something. I will miss you sorely.

Liz was one of the sweetest, kindest persons I have ever met. When I joined SIQG she welcomed me with open arms & readily shared her expertise of quilting with me & made me feel comfortable in the group. She guided us through the beginning years of COVID with calm & confidence. I will remember her & miss her.

Our deepest sympathies to Uncle Tony and his family. We have fond memories of Aunt Elizabeth. I will remember her most for her hospitality and practical wisdom. And that time she taught me the “right” way to slice a cantaloupe. Rest In Peace Aunt Elizabeth. Joe, Tina, Luciano, and Sophia Pergola
