Obituary of Teresa Andersen

Mrs. Teresa Andersen (nee Esposito), 92, of Willowbrook, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Andersen Sr.; loving mother of Robert L. Andersen Jr., Richard Andersen and his wife Irene, Russell Andersen and his wife Monica, the late Ronald Andersen and the late Raymond Yolland; fond mother-in-law of Linda Yolland; cherished grandmother of 8 and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 6 siblings. Mrs. Andersen was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Teresa was born and raised in Seneca Falls, NY and relocated at age 17 to Staten Island. She was employed by the Willowbrook State School and later the Institute for Basic Research, retiring in 1983. She was very devoted to Holy Family R.C. Church and enjoyed gardening. Family and friends will meet directly at the Church on Thursday 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Teresa's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
