Obituary of Marianne Mancinelli

Marianne Mancinelli, 76, of Grant City, Staten Island, passed away on Saturday, September 10. Marianne, a native and lifelong Staten Islander, was one of ten siblings: Joan, Virginia, Theresa, Carol, Raymond, Claire, John, Charlene, Gus. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Charles, her siblings, Joan, Carol, Claire, John, Gus, her children Daniel, Christina, Deanna, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces/nephews too numerous to mention, and her grandchildren, Nicole, Marissa, Joseph, Alexis, Ava, Ally, Dylan, Molly, and great-grandchild Nicholas. Marianne was born and raised in Staten Island, living in various neighborhoods throughout the years. She worked for the earlier part of her life as a waitress/server, later working as a secretary/office assistant and finally a quality control technician for Sun Chemical. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, the shore, and the boardwalk. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Family and friends may visit Matthew Funeral Home at 2508 Victory Boulevard on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 02:00pm to 04:00pm, and from 06:00pm to 09:00pm (religious services to be included during evening session).
