Over the years, Norman has shared his love for his family, his Buddhist faith as well as his love for his homeland, Myanmar.
We will miss this very special person, who brought not just the mail, but shared his own joy with us, knowing many, if not all of us at 392 by name,

Along with some others noting their memories, I knew Norman over all the years he delivered our mail at 392 CPW. Norman brought much more than mail to us…..in addition to being very hardworking and helpful, he was always a calm, kind and friendly presence, ready share stories of food, culture and customs from Myanmar. Norman also took time to stop for a chat whenever we ran into him coming or going from the building, to share gratitude for good weather, and to play with Daisy, my dog. We will all miss Norman and his sweet spirit. I offer my deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.

We knew Norman for all of the many years he delivered the mail to us at 392 Central Park West. He was always smiling, friendly and helpful. We talked about his family a little, about Myanmar, how much work he had to do, and the weather. Because my first name is also Norman, I always felt we had a special friendship. I think he would have agreed. My wife Leslie and I will miss him. We send our sincere condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren, who we heard nice things about over the years.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of Norman Kyee, a great husband, father and friend.
Norman Kyee and I have known each other since kindergarten in 1967. Aung Win (Norman Kyee), Mg Mg Aung, Hla Chit and myself were like real brothers growing up. I still remember the simple life when we were in school. I was the quiet one so he always protected me from any troubles. He left the country during middle school.
We were apart for over 40 years and finally reunited in 2020 during the pandemic. He recognized me right on the spot.
From then on, we were on messenger video call almost everyday. He is the same as when he was young. His kindness, generosity, love and willingness to help others has never changed.
I got a chance to surprise him by visiting him in July 2022. Spending time with him in person brought back memories of when we were younger. I will always cherish these memories.
This is a difficult loss in all our lives. My brother left me forever. Ah Kyee will be missed by all his family and friends. Ah Kyee will never be forgotten.
