She spent a few summers in Aruba and Barbados with her daughter from Florida and her best friend Bernice and family. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching game shows, soap operas and Turner Classic Movies.
Last year she battled a leg infection which required her to be admitted to the hospital and then transfer to Clove Lakes Nursing Home for constant care and recovery. By mid-2021 she then had frequent problems with ambulation and nutritional support. She also suffered with COPD.
Although physically weakened, she endured her hardships during the year. She had a strong heart and showed kindness to many she encountered. She will be missed greatly.
