Obituary of Jennie Vasaturo
Jennie Vasaturo, age 92, passed away on March 3, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Vasaturo. She was the loving mother of Gennaro Vasaturo and the late Lou Ann Jantz. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph Vasaturo and his wife Alisa, Pamela Jantz and Robert Jantz and his long time girlfriend Jessica. She was the dear great grandmother of Nicole Vasaturo, Patrick Carey and Emma Jantz. She was the fond sister of Helen Cerillo, and the late Thomas Ovale, Dolly Motchan, Tessie Notaroberto, Katie Marino and Millie Karacand. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jennie worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Willowbrook Development Center for over 25 years. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family. Jennie and Joseph had a time share in Daytona Beach, Florida that they used for over 10 years. Jennie will be remembered as a loving, caring and independent woman who always put her family first.
Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, 3/10/18, departing at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
