Obituary of Frances T. Tropiano

Frances Tropiano (Ragonese) passed away on December 5, 2022. Fran is survived by her sister Teresa Kormann, her daughter Lisa Maturi (husband Frank), her son Sal Tropiano, her son Pasquale Tropiano (wife Claudine), granddaughter Corinne, grandson Nicholas, granddaughter Brittney, grandson Pasquale, granddaughter Ariana, granddaughter De’Anna, many nieces and nephews, and five great-grandchildren. Fran was born on March 23, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from James Madison High School. She dedicated years to working at Sloan’s in Manhattan and retired to sunny Florida where she enjoyed the warmer weather. Fran enjoyed saltwater fishing, golfing, and traveling with her family. She later moved back to New Jersey to spend time with family, and later returned home to Staten Island. Memorial Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, 12/17, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A service is scheduled at 2:00 pm.
